Once in a while it is nice to adorn your website with a repetitively moving line of text when you want to call special attention to something, provide a temporary alert, or direct visitors to a particular place. That moving line of text is called a marquee. And you can...

Once in a while even Wix website designers have a little trouble with the Wix editor. Today I'm personally having trouble accessing the color picker. I see other designers posting in our private Facebook group that they are having the same issue.

Yesterday, I could ope...

It happens to designers, and to do-it-yourselfers as well. We change page names and then forget to change the meta tag (SEO) and page settings. So the page shows up with a confusing, mismatched set of names. This typically happens in Wix when we duplicate an existing p...

Website designers and computer techies speak in a language that is not always comprehensible to normal folk. And unfortunately, when purchased computers don't come with a vocabulary list. Wouldn't it be nice it they did!

So just like it's good to know how to say s'il vo...

This is the first time I’ve ever posted to my blog from my iPhone. Being a guinea pig for my clients is just one of the services I provide.

Why I've Retired

It's possible this will come as a surprise to you -- it certainly has snuck on me that I'm well past retirement age. Over the last year or so, my heart has been pulled in other directions, and while I still love the creative aspects of website design, I want to use my time making a life rather than devoting my energies to making a living. So I plan to travel, attend writers' retreats, work on learning to take good iPhone photos, and just be open to where my spirit guides take me. I have also stepped back from my esoteric work for 2020, and who knows what the future holds for that.

Please see the blog post for my two Wix designers who have earned my highest recommendations for serving my client niche.

All the Best to You!
