Using the Wix platform to build your own website is not especially complicated, but it will take time and the specific (but minor) skills listed below. If you don’t have a couple weeks to a month to devote to browsing through templates, experimenting with editing tools...

Even those of us who identify as writers will occasionally come up with writer's block.  But when blogging is one of your main marketing methods, it's essential to have ideas at the ready for those times when you're just not feeling inspired.  Of course, you might be t...

Website designers and computer techies speak in a language that is not always comprehensible to normal folk. And unfortunately, when purchased computers don't come with a vocabulary list. Wouldn't it be nice it they did!

One of the more unusual traits I've noticed among my colleague psychotherapists is the strong tendency to strive to be just like every other clinician, to NOT stand out from the pack, to market in ways that aim to blend in rather than to distinguish themselves as havin...

Trust is THE most important currency for those of us who sell services and products mainly on the internet. It is what potential clients need to feel about you, and what you need to engender with their first impression of your website. Stimulating trust is something th...

This morning as I was listening to the umpteenth video on a “blueprint system” for doing what I already do, I had a flash of insight, and it’s this:

Why I've Retired

It's possible this will come as a surprise to you -- it certainly has snuck on me that I'm well past retirement age. Over the last year or so, my heart has been pulled in other directions, and while I still love the creative aspects of website design, I want to use my time making a life rather than devoting my energies to making a living. So I plan to travel, attend writers' retreats, work on learning to take good iPhone photos, and just be open to where my spirit guides take me. I have also stepped back from my esoteric work for 2020, and who knows what the future holds for that.

Please see the blog post for my two Wix designers who have earned my highest recommendations for serving my client niche.

All the Best to You!
